Azure Horizon

Azure Horizon is curated specifically for unobstructed water views — every property in this collection has been selected for its commanding sea position, west-facing orientation, and pool placement that aligns with the horizon line. Other sea-view properties on the island may have partial views or face away from the sunset; Azure Horizon properties don't.

The majority do. Infinity edge pools are a defining quality of the collection — designed so the water surface visually merges with the sea beyond. A small number of properties feature negative-edge or wet-deck pools that create the same illusion. Standard rectangular pools are not in this collection.

Properties on the western side of the island — particularly those above Lakka and on the Magazia coastline — receive the most theatrical sunsets, with the sun setting directly over the open Ionian Sea. Each listing notes its orientation and golden-hour exposure.

Most Azure Horizon pools are unheated and best from late May through mid-October. A few properties offer heated pools that extend the swimming season into April and November — this is noted on individual listings under Pool Details.

Almost exclusively elevated positions — hillside, clifftop, or terraced into the slope. The view is the defining quality, and elevation creates it. If you prefer beach-level access without stairs, Village Chic or Heritage Stone collections are a better match.

Each property has been selected for genuine outdoor privacy — no overlooking neighbours, no shared boundaries, no public foot traffic. Sun loungers and dining terraces are positioned for views without exposure. The "swimming naked" test, as one of our hosts puts it.
