About Village Chic

Primarily Gaios, Lakka, and Loggos — the three main inhabited villages on Paxos, each with its own distinct rhythm. Gaios is the largest and most active; Lakka has a beautiful crescent harbour and quieter sociability; Loggos is the smallest and most intimate.

By design, all Village Chic properties are within a 5-minute walk of their village's main waterfront. Most are within 2-3 minutes. The collection is curated specifically for guests who want to leave the car keys at the property and live the village on foot.

Village evenings have ambient activity until midnight in peak season — taverna conversation, harbour movement. Properties have been selected with bedroom sound insulation and orientation that minimises this. If you're a particularly light sleeper, mention it when booking and we'll suggest the quietest options in the collection.

Limited. Most villages have controlled vehicle access in their old quarters, so parking is typically in public lots a 2-3 minute walk from the property. A few properties include dedicated parking — this is noted on individual listings.

Yes — and many guests prefer it. Ferries arrive directly into Gaios, taxis are available for inter-village trips and beach excursions, and our team can arrange any boat or driver service. A car is helpful for exploring inland Paxos but isn't essential for a Village Chic stay.

Each interior has been styled with intentional design — curated furnishings, considered art, quality linens, thoughtful lighting — rather than the catalogue-furniture approach common in standard short-term rentals. Think small-hotel attention to detail in a private apartment setting.
